NASP Online CPD Modules
Click here for a list of CPD modules that are currently available from NASP.
NASP's Professional Growth Committee provides online self-study modules for members. Some are textual; others feature multimedia content. Nationally Certified School Psychologists will be required to obtain 25 NASP-approved CPDs beginning with the 2010 renewal cycle. Some of these online modules meet the criteria for NASP-Approved Continuing Professional Development; approved modules are marked in your CPD module listing as providing NASP-approved CPDs. After completing the activity and passing a quiz, you'll be able to print a certificate of completion to document the activity.
These modules are intended to provide at least one hour of self-study material. You may complete them in more or less time than that; some people spend much more time exploring these topics in depth. Your use of these modules for NCSP renewal is subject to the guidelines of the National School Psychology Certification Board. At this time, those guidelines generally permit up to 30 hours of self-study credit, along with a maximum of two topics, every three years. Self-study credit may be documented with the NCSP Activity Documentation Form. Further information and forms are available at www.nasponline.org/certification.
